Yaji Kita (Yaji-san Kita-san) statue

A statue built to celebrate the 200-year anniversary of the publication of "Tokaidochu Hizakurige". It is a piece by Jippensha Ikku, who is a fiction writer from Shizuoka. A good photo taking spot in front of Higashigomon in Sumpu Castle Park where Yaji-san (left) and Kita-san (right) are standing with Tatsumiyagura in the back.
