Branch Temple of the Hodai-in Temple
Houdaiin Betsuin

The temple established at the foot of Mt. Kunozan by Teruhisa Sakakibara, who was present at Ieyasu’s final moments in Sumpu Castle, who was also appointed the first head priest of Kuno-zan Tosho-gu by Ieyasu. There is now a tomb of Teruhisa that still watches over Mt. Kunozan to this day.
