The jabuticaba is a South American fruit that makes fruit-producing white flowers bloom directly from its trunk and branches throughout the year. It may be surprising at first to see black fruits that are roughly 2cm big on the branches and trunk of the trees, but the fruits are sweet and sour like lychees and grapes and have plenty of polyphenols.
