Sashimono is a woodwork product that is assembled without using nails, using glue and grooves such as hozo. The word ”sashimono” is said to have originated from the fact that it was made using the unique Japanese tool called a ”jigane” (pitcher). In the hands-on experience, you will assemble it based on the materials prepared by the craftsman.
